TERMINOLOGY ABOUT CAESARS & GIFTING

A RETURNER

A RETURNER is a player who returns gifts because he/she does NOT have your name on their game friends list.  This means they can't send you a gift first.  You have to send them a gift first so they can send a gift back to you.

Assuming all gifts are sent by both parties, when a RETURNER sees YOUR name in their gift box, your gift will always have a COLLECT & GIFT BACK button. When they collect your gift, it will automatically send a gift back to you.

When you see the RETURNER's gifts in your gift box, their gift will always have a  COLLECT button because this is them returning a gift to you.

A RETURNER will not have a regular profile picture as seen on Facebook, for example. Instead, their profile picture will be a  large version of the Caesars logo.

GAME FRIEND

A GAME FRIEND is someone who has your name on their gift list and you have their name on your gift list.

Assuming you sent your gifts before you started collecting, when you collect their gift from your inbox,  a GAME FRIEND's gift will always have a profile picture with the tiny Caesars logo in the left corner.

Assuming you sent your gifts before you started collecting, a GAME FRIEND's gift will always have a COLLECT button, not a COLLECT & GIFT BACK button.

A FILLER ACCOUNT

A FILLER ACCOUNT is a player that Caesars Support has dumped on your list to make you meet the 1000 Caesars friends quota. You will know them when you see them because they are either on a low level (usually Level 1). Most have very few, if any, completed challenges or medals.

Usually these are names of players who have quit playing Caesars long ago, but never UNLIKED the APP Page or deleted the game.

A NON PLAYER ACCOUNT

Similar to a FILLER ACCOUNT, a NON PLAYER ACCOUNT is someone who either never played the game or someone who used to play the game but no longer plays. The statistics on their profile screen usually show them to be lower level players with few or no medals.

Don't accuse people of being a non gifter.  The gifting system is so messed up that we have no idea who is gifting and who isn't, especially if Caesars holds back our gifts.

Usually, it takes 10 days to two weeks of documenting and watching your gift box to determine if someone is a NON PLAYER.

If you have time on your hands and have a nagging need to be sure, then write down each name, their game level and number of medals. Then two or three times a week over the next two weeks, check their profile statistics screen for levels, game or contest progress.  Also, keep an eye on your gift box to see if they send you a gift. Some people gift every day but don't play the game due to being broke, having game glitches or not having time.

If there is no movement on the statistics screen over the two week period, you can consider them a non-player. Unfriend. Don't forget to block on Facebook.

UNFRIENDING IN THE GAME

To remove someone's name from your game screen, if they also have a Facebook account, you will need to unfriend them on the game gifting screen.  Then go find them on Facebook and unfriend them there.  When you are no longer friend to them, block them.

By the next reset time, these names are usually gone from your gifting list.  However, some players report that Support said it takes up to a month for deleted names to be removed from the list.

DEACTIVATED ACCOUNT

A DEACTIVATED ACCOUNT on your Facebook friends list is easy to spot because 1) the profile picture is gone, 2) there are no friends listed under their name and 3) usually there's no text under the picture.

There is a white silhouette where the profile picture used to be. When you click the FRIENDS button to select UNFRIEND, the ADD FRIEND button doesn't come back on the screen.  It's a dead account.

On Facebook and in the game, you should check for deactivated accounts at least once a week. There is no sense sending gifts to account that can't use them.

If you didn't already have one when they changed over to the new system, Caesars assigns everyone a profile picture. You can change it at any time. Therefore, when you see a white picture in the game, it is a dead giveaway that the account is deactivated. Click on their picture, on the FRIENDS button, click UNFRIEND.

For stubborn accounts to permanently delete from your game screen, sometimes they need to be unfriended both on the game and on your Facebook. I go an extra step and I also block them so Caesars doesn't dump them on my game again.

THE PASSIVE GIFTER

There are a lot of players who don't want to be first to send daily gifts.   Therefore they never send gifts to the names on their game friends list.  THE PASSIVE GIFTER is a player who waits to see who sends them a gift first, then returns gifts to exactly who sent gifts to them.

If this sounds like you, stop doing that.

Admittedly, there are a lot of players who are content to sit and click the GIFT BACK button on every gift they receive, just so they can see exactly who sends gifts to them. Some players do it this way so they can sort their list, take a head count and track their gifting.

I don't understand why there's such a problem with sending gifts.  Turn on your device, go to the Caesars Gift Tab, Select All, Send. It's done.

Some people have a misguided sense of fairness saying they don't want to send gifts to anyone who doesn't send gifts to them. They rather take the time to return exactly the number of gifts that were sent to them and not one gift more.

That's just stingy. It doesn't cost you anything but 5 minutes of your time.

Gift first, collect after.  Enough said.

TO SEND GIFTS OR NOT TO SEND

Because we all don't have the same names to send gifts to, you should send your gifts as soon as possible.

The most likely reason is -- inevitably there is always someone who is waiting for you to send your gift to them so they can collect your gift and send a gift back to you.

Remember, we are all on different time zones. Some people want to go to bed but because of a busy next day,  they wait up to take care of the gifting.

The second reason for you to send your gifts first is so that when you are collecting, you can see the names of those who need to be gifted back.
