HOW TO PRINT ANY WEBPAGE WITHOUT ADS OR EXTRA JUNK

PC Users:  How do you presently print out web pages?

Do you print them out directly from the web site and waste valuable ink because it includes the advertisements. navigation bars, and extra pictures?

OR

Do you copy paste just the text from a web page onto a Word document, make some notes to yourself about the important stuff that is on the pictures and then print it out?

OR

Do you use the PRINT FRIENDLY VERSION button but have been disappointed in the results because it still printed out a few ads and navigation bars anyway?

Whatever way you are printing out your webpages, what we are offering has got to be better than what you are doing so you aren't getting frustrated doing copy pastes, wasting printer ink and your valuable time.

As with most things, you have two choices.

1) You can install a special browser extension if you frequently print webpages.  The downside is that browser extensions do slow down your browser when you are using it for other things, like games or videos.  You can always opt to disable any extensions when you need a faster browser.

OR

You can use this link and type in the URL of the web page you want to print without getting extra junk.

You'll get a nice clean copy of just the information you want, no ads or non-related pictures.  Try it out. You won't be disappointed.

iPhone and iPad Users: see end of this post.

TIPS:

1- Use PRINT PREVIEW to see an advance copy of your results before you print. If you see pictures that are a necessary part of the information on the web page but you think you can do without the pictures, you can delete them before you click PRINT.

2 - Choose a text font that uses less ink when it types. Fonts that appear like bold print and large/heavy fonts that have a lot of filler will use a lot of ink.

3 - Size matters!  Choose a text font size that you can read comfortably but not overly large.

4 - Choose FAST DRAFT or ECONOMY PRINT on your printer settings to save ink.

5 - If you don't need COLOR, don't use it. Choose BLACK or GREY setting. Black ink is cheaper to purchase than color ink.

EXTRA $$$$ TIP:
If you want to convert HTML to PDF, you can try this link for free, but it is a purchase after the freebie. Prices range from $10 to $80
