Type of Gifts
It used to be that gifts sent by players having a profile picture with the tiny Caesars logo in the bottom left corner meant that they were an APP player. And those with a tiny F for Facebook in bottom left corner of their profile picture were FB users who were playing Caesars by accessing Facebook.
This was how we could tell if someone was our Facebook friend or not, or someone who accessed the game as an APP player.
That information is no longer true.
Number of Gifts
In late 2017, Caesars changed their rules again, and 'graciously' permitted players to have a total of 1500 game friends which breaks down to 1000 Facebook and 500 Caesars friends. But not all of their names were on our SEND list. Players saw less than 1000 gifts being sent and thought there was still room to add more friends.
There wasn't.
In actuality, Playtika wasn't showing all the names on the SEND list, on purpose. They still don't.
In early 2018, there was another change to allow players to have 1500 Facebook friends and 1000 Caesars friends for a total of 2500 game friends to exchange gifts with. This is where it stands now.
Somewhere it has to be illegal for a supposedly 'free' game to limit a player's number of game friends and also limit the number of gifts they can get in order to play the game. We all know the reason why they are doing this. It is because Playtika wants to sell more coin packages to make more money for a game that they forget is marketed and advertised as FREE!
How Gifting Works
Assuming that you are at 2500 maximum limit, you need to accept the fact that you are never going to see all 2500 names of your game friends on your SENT screen. However, you should be seeing between 1000 and 1900 names on your SENT screen.
Caesars Support sizes it up like this:
Let's say you have 2500 game friends.
- 75% of the names of your 2500 game friends will be names that you can see on your own SENT screen - it comes to around 1875 game friends. This number will change daily because Playtika is in control of how many names they are going to show you on your SEND screen. There are always TWO Send Screens. Many players forget to send the second time. Just remember that when you send to a big list of names, go back an hour later and check for more names for a second Send.
- The names of the other 25% (up to about 625 game friends) will Not be on your SEND screen. You'll have to wait for them to send to you first, so you can return their gift.
FIGURE 1
In the picture above, there are two different types of profile pictures. Some of these players will have your name on their gift list and some won't. Here's how to tell the difference.
- First, there are players who have a regular photo as their profile picture. They will have a tiny Caesars Logo in bottom left corner of their profile picture (Victoria Karagia and Cyndee Davis in the above example). These are names that are on my own Send list and make up part of the allowable 75%.
- However, just because you have a player's name on your Send list, doesn't mean they also have Your name on their Send list. If you haven't received a gift from them, it is probably because they don't have your name on their Send list and they are waiting for You to send FIRST so they can send gifts back to you.
- Second, there are players who have a Caesars Logo as a profile picture. These completely cover the profile picture area (see Eunice Little and Connie Brooks in the above example). These are players that You DO NOT have on your Send list. However they have You on Their Send list.
- That means you have to wait for them to send you a gift FIRST so You can send back to them.
The other 25% (up to about 625 game friends) who are not on your gifting list are players who have Your name on their list and you will have to wait for them to gift you first.
Collecting Gifts
Tip: While you are reading this tutorial, we invite you to refer back and forth to your game. The sheer volume of information is bound to raise questions, so please use the comment box to ask yours. If you are in the habit of clicking the Yellow "Collect All" button at the top of your inbox, do yourself a favor and once a day please click the "arrow" on the COLLECT button. This will open up the list to see the names on each gift.
When you see a gift in your gift box, notice the difference in profile pictures. This is valuable information so you know how you are being gifted.
Assuming you already sent your gifts for the day:
1) After you open the Collect button, you will see names that have COLLECT & GIFT BACK button. These are names who have YOUR NAME on their SEND list. You do NOT have their names on your SEND list.
- Gifts with COLLECT & GIFT BACK buttons will always be from players with profile pictures with a full Caesars Logo. Rarely will there be an F in bottom left corner.
- You need to click the COLLECT & GIFT BACK button so you send a gift back to them.
- If you click COLLECT ONLY, they don't get gifted back.
- If you click the COLLECT ALL at top of your gift list, only part of the names get gifted back - again, it is Playtika's choice.
FIGURE 2
These are players whose profile pictures are the full Caesars logo. This means they have YOUR name on their SEND list but You don't have THEIR name on your SEND list. |
2) You will also see names that have a single COLLECT button. These are names you already gifted on your SEND screen. Clicking COLLECT means you are simply collecting the gift they sent back to you.
- The gifts which say COLLECT will always be players who have a real profile picture. They are your game friend and their name is on your game list.
- Most of them will have an F in bottom left corner which tells you that they are also your Facebook friend. However, these Facebook profile pictures are slowly being replaced with the Caesars logo as Playtika updates their platform to remove their connection with Facebook.
FIGURE 3
Notice that this picture points out one Facebook friend and one APP friend, both with the COLLECT button. In both cases, this means YOU gifted them already and they are returning your gift. |
Collect and Gift Back
You can verify what we are telling you about the type of friend a player is, when you look at the gifts that are Sent to you.
Caesars has been very busy doing conversions to each player's account to replace the Facebook logo with the Caesars logo on profile pictures. Right now, you can practically count on one hand how many of your Facebook friends still have the F on their profile pictures.

This doesn't mean your Facebook friends aren't gifting you or that they have quit playing the game. It means that Caesars is changing things on us. Again.
We used to be able to see at a glance who played using the APP and who played using Facebook. It told us how many Facebook friends we had on our game, and it was also easy to keep track of gifting and friending.
But now all bets are off and the gifting and friending is a mess.
Players are going to either have to accept the system the way it is and learn to work with it, or quit the game and find another to replace it.
Many Caesars players have quit because they aren't seeing gifts being returned to them to get enough coins to play.
If you don't Send your gifts before you Collect, and if you don't return a gift when you are collecting, you will be one of the reasons why players quit.
We are only explaining the difference in profile pictures so you can understand why you aren't seeing every one of your 5000 Facebook Caesars friends on your game list.
Many players get frustrated because they feel all their work is for nothing. They spend a lot of time keeping their game friends list straight, writing to players to get updates, deleting players who don't gift or who don't play anymore, only to come back online the next morning and see that Playtika dumped a bunch of strangers who are on Levels 1 to 50 with little or no medals or challenges completed.
Some of us go to a lot of trouble to keep our list of game friends up to date with active players who gift. So we delete often, we keep tabs when we collect and we add more names as we have room.
But Playtika is determined to have the upper hand -- they do NOT want you to get so many gifts a day. They think by limiting the number of gifts you get from friends, that you will buy coin packages from them.
By limiting your friends gifts and by putting enough non players or bogus profiles on your account, this will use up a valuable space that would be normally be for a 'real' player.
We can't help it and we can't change what they are doing. The tips on our website will help you to deal with what we feel is a gross injustice to the player.
There are two screens for SUPPORT.
Skip the first screen that looks like this and has HOT TOPICS at bottom.
Click the pink CONTACT US button again at the top right and you will get this screen. Use the drop down menu to zero in on your issue. You have to pick one thing from each menu, then type in your text. Enter your email address if it didn't auto fill. Then attach a screenshot but no bigger than 1MB in size. If it is too big, shrink it or ask someone to do it for you. (Maggie and Cally are good at this lol).
Maggie kept track for 14 days straight and sent them the proof that they were adding new people to her game, and they still denied that it was them doing all the adding. Maggie is at maximum friends limit, and has been for months, so there is no way she could be adding them herself. The proof is when she clicks to accept in-game friend requests, the message is always the same - the person can't be added because she is at maximum limit of friends. So if she can't add them, and if they weren't on her list before that day, then how did they get there?
Because Support put them there. Just like they are putting them on your list.
Maggie and Cally tested this out.
They each wrote to 125 Facebook players who were dumped on their game list. They were friends with only about 5 people out of the 125 names.
Out of the 125 names, 113 of them said they had quit and uninstalled the game a long time ago, OR they tried the game out on their device and it wasn't compatible (which explains why they were on a low level). Maggie and Cally urged them to block the game, to leave Stompers if they were still a member and to UNLIKE the Caesars Fan Page -- these are additional places where Playtika finds dormant players.
Playtika is not in your corner. You are a meal ticket to them - a potential customer who they will try their hardest to get you to part with your money.
The Support department is not a support to the player. Writing to them will only test your frustration and raise your blood pressure. After you spend a few hours in back and forth communication with them, they abruptly will stop answering your messages, which frustrates the player even more.
Outcomes are rarely in favor of the player and when they are, it's because the player was relentless in keeping after them and bombarding them with showing proof that the player was right.
You can trust us when we tell you that writing to them to complain about all the extra names that they dumped on your game list is a waste of time. They deny it every time. But if you want to see if we are right, go ahead and put in a ticket. Follow the screen examples above to get to the right Contact Support screen. Let us know what your results are.
All of the frenzied Facebook friending you are doing to add Caesars players to your game to try to get the most gifts is all for nothing.
It's true - the days of 5000 friends for 5000 gifts are over. Playtika wants you to "settle" for what they will allow you to get - when they feel like sending it to you. They act as an intermediary - the gifts are sent, they process them, then send them on to you. They blamed Facebook for years and years saying that Facebook wasn't sending them but players know now that it was never Facebook. It was Playtika.
The only thing in your control is "in game" friend requests that come to you and "in game" friend requests that you send to others.
But you can't do that if your list is full up. You have to stay on top of your list to keep the most gifting players on it. And you have to act fast to add players before Playtika figures out that you have room so they end up dumping bogus profiles who don't play the game so that they take up that valuable space on your game friends list.
What you can do is unfriend any player on your game who doesn't show any achievements or medals, or who doesn't gift you back.
The main reason for writing this tutorial is so you know how to recognize the difference in players and how to send and collect gifts. The rest of the information here is FYI.

DUMPING
To add insult to injury, as soon as Playtika sees you have deleted a number of players or that you have room to add more, Playtika is dumping names on your list. Most of these names are non players - some have quit long ago, and some are downright bogus profiles. Many players get frustrated because they feel all their work is for nothing. COMPLAIN
You can always write to Support and give them a piece of your mind. But it won't do any good. They always deny they are doing it even when they are shown proof. There are two screens for SUPPORT.

The first CONTACT SUPPORT screen is more a Self Help and does not put you in touch with a Support Specialist |

FACEBOOK FRIENDING
With all that you've read so far, you probably have come to the same conclusion that many other Caesars players have. All of the frenzied Facebook friending you are doing to add Caesars players to your game to try to get the most gifts is all for nothing.
