Warning: If you use a browser extension or an pp that attaches to your browser for copy pasting, it is one more piece of junkware that weighs down your browser and can make your other APPs act up, slow down or freeze.
Copy pasting is very easy and after this tutorial, you should find yourself doing it all the time.
Using The Following Sample Text:
The quote is: All good men must come to the aid of their country.
Sample Text |
Directions:
Follow along using the Screenshots. To achieve the blue highlighting that you see in the above picture, place your mouse at the beginning of the above sample sentence just before the "T" and while holding down your LEFT mouse, run it along the sentence until you get to the period at the end of the sentence.
If you did it correctly, the sentence should be highlighted in blue as seen on the second screenshot. If it is not in blue, it means you didn't position your mouse correctly at the beginning of the T. Do it over again until your sentence is highlighted in blue.
While your sentence is still blue, click your RIGHT mouse, then select COPY from the menu. You can also skip using the mouse and press the Control key and the letter C to copy.
the COPY Function |
Next, go to the place where you want to paste the text and position your cursor in the spot where you want the text to start. Now press your RIGHT mouse, then select PASTE. You can also skip using the mouse and press the Control key and the letter V to paste.
The PASTE Function |
